Bow-wows & Meows provides you and your pets with a flexible and reliable alternative to relying on family, friends and neighbours when you are going to be away from home. Your pets will remain happy and secure in their own surroundings and will receive regular care and personal attention. And you won’t have to be inconvenienced or upset by having to transport your pets to kennels, catteries or elsewhere.
We will visit your home once, twice or three times a day, depending on your requirements, to see that your pets’ needs are catered for. We understand the importance of maintaining your pets’ normal routine and therefore our service is tailored to suit the needs of each individual pet as much as possible.
For Cats:
- Provision of fresh water and food
- Cleaning of bowls
- Cleaning of litter trays
- Attention, playing & light grooming
- Administering medication if required
- Daily reports
- (We would recommend at least one visit per day, but it is entirely up to you)
For Small Animals:

Most cats prefer to stay at home when you are going on holiday or away on business. They have their own bed, their own surroundings and will receive regular human contact from Bow-wows & Meows. What could be better? It is the purrrrfect alternative to catteries!
This is also a safe, reliable alternative to boarding your dog at kennels thus leaving your home vulnerable. We provide your dog with the care it needs while you are away, in your own home. Your dog stays in a secure, familiar environment, following its customary routine and diet, avoiding exposure to illness from other dogs, whilst receiving caring individual attention.
Your dog will be visited by Bow-wows & Meows 2-3 times daily depending on your requirements. This is also a good option where your dog may not be suitable for home boarding with us. This service is also available for small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters and birds etc. Not only that, but we can keep your home safe while you are away by carrying out security checks, switching lights on and off, opening and closing curtains, collecting mail and putting out bins to give your home that lived-in look for extra security whilst you are away. We can even water your plants for you if you would like us to!
